From a methodological point of view, we used an integrative approach regarding the addressed issues in both provinces of Moesia Superior and Moesia Inferior, applying an analytical and interpretative unified pattern. The methods will focus on literary and epigraphic investigation; linguistic analysis; prosopographic inquiry; spatial analysis; investigation from the perspective of the theory of linguistic contacts; placing the linguistic phenomena in historical context; comparative analysis with other provinces.
